Transom: SMS Workflow Coordination
(Pilot Program)
Transom is a lightweight workflow‑coordination system developed by KS Partners BV. It enables organizations to communicate with their members using simple, reliable SMS messages. During this pilot phase, Transom is being tested with a small group of early users to validate core messaging workflows such as sending invoice reminders.
Transom focuses on clarity, speed, and accessibility — allowing organizations to reach users instantly without requiring a mobile app or login.
Why SMS Is Used
Organizations often need fast, direct communication with members. SMS provides:
Immediate delivery
Universal compatibility
No app installation
Simple menu‑based interactions
Transom uses SMS to support workflows such as:
Alerts about missing invoice images
Reminders for workflow tasks
Menu‑based commands (CONSENT, STOP, HELP, INV)
Pilot Program Status
Transom is currently in pilot development. Features, workflows, and message templates are being evaluated with a limited number of early participants. The pilot helps KS Partners validate:
Message delivery reliability
User interaction patterns
Workflow timing and responsiveness
Opt‑in and consent processes
Participation is limited and controlled.

SMS Enrollment and Consent
Employees request enrollment by texting CONSENT to the Transom toll-free number provided by their organization. See Fulcrum’s announcement flyer (mock-up) at right.
Consenting employees will see the Consent Disclosure on the flyer as well as within the SMS conversation. By completing the consent conversation employees expressly opt-in to receive conversational and transactional SMS messages from their organization, delivered through Transom.
At any time, employees may text STOP opt-out of any further Transom conversations.
Click Consent / Opt-in for details.
